The Family Support Advisor acts as a point of contact within the school for families requiring additional assistance and support.
In addition to individual support she facilitates a number of parent coffee mornings and workshops covering a variety of topics including sleep, toilet training and behaviour management.
Part of the role of the Family Support Advisor is to help families to find sources of additional help and support. There are a number of local groups who are able to provide both practical and emotional support to families of children with special education needs. For information on these groups please click here

Redbridge Disability Consortium in conjunction with the Centre for Independent and Inclusive Living and Redbridge Council, have produced an 'Autism Alert Card', which is available for anyone with an autistic spectrum disorder.
