The residential trip takes place yearly and provides great opportunities for the children to experience a wide range of activities and skills with the support of Hatton Staff and Stubbers Instructors. Every day at Stubbers is structured to offer a variety of enjoyable sessions across land, air and water, helping our children develop core skills, build confidence and most importantly have fun.
The Centre is based in Upminster and staff and children stay together in Maple Lodge with its own private secure garden in the centres grounds. Food is prepared by the centres catering staff and most diets can be catered for, including Vegetarian, Halal, Gluten Free, Soya Free and Dairy Free.
Activities on offer include:-
Quad Biking, Jet Skiing, Climbing, High Ropes, Challenge Course, Sailing, Power Boating, Open Canoes, Archery, Bell Boats, Grass Sledging, and Argo Cats etc.
Benefits of the trip:-
Develop self-esteem, promote communication, support the curriculum, build confidence, learn new skills, develop fine and gross motor skills, promote life skills, experience residential setting, make new friends and to offer a little respite to some of our families.
