The School day

The school begins at 8:30am and ends at 2:30pm.  Punctuality is important to make sure our pupils are properly prepared for the day’s learning.

School holidays

Term dates can he found here.  At Hatton School we believe that regular attendance throughout the year is essential to ensure our pupils’ success.  Redbridge and school policy is to only authorise absence from school for travel under exceptional circumstances.  Holidays in term time cannot be authorised.

Contacting the class teacher

The easiest way to contact staff I you child’s class is by writing in the home-school book.  Staff may be available take a telephone call at the start or the end of the day but calls cannot be put through to classrooms during lesson time.  In an emergency the school office will make sure a message gets to the class team.
