Our curriculum mission is “to light the fire of curiosity in the mind of every pupil”

Hatton pupils have access to a wide ranging and engaging curriculum. It is based on the National Curriculum but adapted to our pupils’ needs and learning styles.

The curriculum has been carefully sequenced to provide learning opportunities that cover the whole range of subjects. 

Opportunities to revisit and build on previous learning ensures the curriculum is progressive so that pupils consolidate and build knowledge and skills as they journey through the school.

A wide range of strategies are used to help pupils be ready for leaning, to access the curriculum and support their communication.
