PROUD of The Hatton Way; Learning, Growing, Achieving Together

Message from Headteacher

I hope you find lots of useful and up to date information on our website.

At Hatton we pride ourselves at putting children and their families at the centre of what we do.  We strive hard to make sure all our children are included whatever the complexity of special education need.

We believe passionately that our role at Hatton is to develop well rounded individuals.  At Hatton we value each individual and strive to ensure they reach their full potential.  Our creative, personalised and varied curriculum ensures that functional skills are taught which enhances children’s abilities to access communities both in school and beyond.

The school and Outreach team work closely together so that we can offer a wide range of inclusive activities including specialist training, social activities, mainstream school and special school links and support.

Hatton benefits from a team of hardworking, committed staff and governors who all fully support our vision of “Learning, Growing, Achieving Together”.

Children’s safety and wellbeing are strongly promoted with safeguarding training given to all staff and governors so that everyone knows that they have a right to feel safe and supported and that any concerns are responded to promptly. We are proud to be involved in the UNICEF Rights Respecting School initiative and their principles and charters are embedded across the school and service.

We are always happy to welcome visitors to the school, so if you feel you would like to know more about us please call and make an appointment to visit.
