Raising Staff Awareness
- For staff, the year began with an Inset Day which reintroduced UNICEF’s work and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and made new staff aware of our progress towards the award. We focused on ways in which to introduce this subject to our pupils.
- School Assemblies have a regular focus on Rights and on the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
- Unicef UK provide support and training to help staff implement the RRSA across their schools.
- Unicef provide guidance and teaching materials to schools developed by Unicef UK and Rights Respecting Schools.
